Red Velvet Cookies

This recipe is made with just four ingredients, butter, eggs, cake mix, and flavor. It's chewy and delicious. Also very simple to make. This can be served during the holidays and on any occasion. Your kids will love them. You start with:

2/3 cup unsalted butter (melted). For 18oz box of red velvet cake mix
If your box is 15 oz use 1/2 cup of melted butter.
Measure the butter before you melt it.
Use Two large eggs
Use one 18 oz box of red velvet cake mix
and 3/4 cup of white chocolate chips – or whatever flavor you prefer.
You can use oil for this recipe, but I believe the texture is better and yummier using melted butter. Don't  prepare the cake mix according to the instructions on the box, instead, follow my instructions and recipe:

Get a large bowl beat together the melted butter, cake mix, and eggs.
Turn in the chocolate chips.

Scoop your batter into balls, and place them apart on a lined sheet.

Add a few extra chocolate chips on the top of each cookie, then bake them in a preheated oven at 350F for 10 minutes.

It will definitely feel and look a little bit different than normal cookie dough. worry not, that's expected.

When your done baking the cookies, the tops should look just set,  don’t bake them for much longer than that or it will be a little hard. If you notice that your cookies spread too thin, just keep the dough in the fridge for 20 minutes before baking

Depending on the brand, add few drops of food coloring to the dough before you stir it in the chocolate chips. Cause some brands are brighter than others. If the brand your using gives you that red color then no need for red food coloring.
